Installation Guidelines

For Concrete Floors:

1. Ensure the floor slab is clean, level, and free of debris.
2. Lay a continuous damp-proof membrane or radon barrier beneath the insulation layer.
3. Position Kingspan Kooltherm K3 Floorboard directly onto the membrane or concrete floor slab.
4. Install a separation layer over the insulation before applying the screed.

For Suspended Timber Floors:

1. Remove floorboards to access the joist cavity.
2. Fit Kingspan Kooltherm K3 Floorboard snugly between the joists.
3. Install a vapor control layer above the floor joists and below the floorboards to create an airtight barrier.
4. Ensure unobstructed ventilation beneath the joists to maintain structural integrity.
