Installation Instructions

1. Prepare the Inner Leaf:
   • Ensure the inner leaf is constructed to the appropriate level and free of debris.
2. Secure the Boards:
   • Align the K8 Cavity Board with the external face of the inner leaf and hold temporarily in place.
   • Install wall ties with retaining clips or discs to secure the board.
3. Build the Outer Leaf:
   • Construct the outer wall up to the level of the insulation board, maintaining proper alignment.
4. Repeat:
   • Continue installing boards and constructing the outer leaf until the desired height is achieved.
   • Ensure a residual cavity of at least 40mm is maintained as per AS 3700 standards.
5. Seal Joints:
   • Use 48mm reinforced aluminium foil tape to seal joins, maintaining insulation continuity.

Handling and Storage

• Store boards indoors when possible, away from moisture.
• For outdoor storage, stack above ground level and cover with weatherproof tarpaulin.
• Avoid using boards exposed to moisture to ensure durability.

Cutting and Packaging

• Cutting Options: Use a fine-toothed saw or score with a sharp knife, snap over a straight edge, and cut the opposite side facing.
• Packaging: Boards are labeled, shrink-wrapped, and available in required quantities.
