Trade Select Sarking TRE(TSTRE-45) (Tile Roof Extra) is specifically engineered as a radiant barrier for under-tile roof installations, offering enhanced thermal efficiency and durability. This multi-layered reflective foil product provides an additional R-value when installed facing an air cavity and delivers superior resistance to air, radiant heat, moisture ingress, and dust penetration.

• Heavyweight Design: Eases roof installation and provides enhanced strength and puncture resistance.
• Class 2 Vapour Barrier: Acts as an effective air, water, and vapour barrier, preventing moisture build-up and improving the overall thermal efficiency of the building.
• Low Flammability: Suitable for all Bushfire Attack Levels (BAL), ensuring compliance in bushfire-prone areas.
• Durability: The multi-layer structure includes polymer films, woven polymers, and aluminium foil to offer long-lasting strength, flexibility, and durability.

Product Applications:

• Residential and Commercial Tile Roofs: Specifically designed for tile roof installations, providing thermal efficiency and moisture control in both residential and commercial applications.
• Cathedral or Raked Roofs: For these applications, use Ametalin VapourTech® RWC Roof Wall Commercial in Climate Zones 4 to 8 for enhanced condensation and vapour management.

Note: Trade Select Ametalin Sarking TRE is not recommended for residential wall installations in Climate Zones 4 to 8.

How It Works in Construction:

Trade Select Ametalin Sarking TRE uses a flexible four-layer design that includes:

1. Polymer film
2. Woven polymer
3. Polymer adhesive
4. 97% reflective aluminium foil

This advanced structure employs Advanced Laminating Technology with a tacky polymer adhesive that provides superior resistance to heat, fire, and delamination, while the pre-shrunk material minimizes post-installation shrinkage.
